The new Parramatta Eels Rugby League Centre of Excellence and Community Hub at Kellyville Park is a landmark precinct for Western Sydney, bringing elite sport and grassroots community together in one integrated campus. Designed by HB Architects and delivered with Kane Constructions and Durnco Group, the development combines world-class training, coaching, and administration facilities with generous community amenities and a boutique match venue.

Five full-size, international-standard playing fields, a dedicated community centre, and flexible match-day spaces support local junior clubs and emerging talent as well as the Eels’ Elite Pathways programs. The architecture and interiors are underpinned by a robust, performance-driven material palette that reflects the club’s identity while creating welcoming, high-functioning spaces for players, staff, and visitors. Across the precinct, acoustic design, durability, and fire compliance have been carefully balanced to deliver an environment that feels cohesive, contemporary, and built for long-term community benefit.

Our
Contribution

We supplied a tailored suite of acoustic and lining solutions across administration, public, training, and external zones, each selected to meet specific performance and design requirements. This included slatted systems in a SmartLook Plantation Oak finish for the boardroom and workplace areas, linear acoustic panels throughout circulation and high-traffic spaces, perforated plasterboard ceilings in public zones, and timber-look panels in Birch Ply finishes for both gyms and external soffits. We procured and coordinated these systems to align with the architectural vision, achieve targeted NRC and Group 1 fire ratings, and ensure a seamless visual language from interiors through to the building envelope.

What We Procured

  • Acoustic wall & ceiling systems
  • MDF panels
Materials were manufactured through our partner network, drawing on more than 50 years of Australian experience in engineered acoustic and architectural systems.

Technical Requirements Supported

The project required the following:
  • Fire ratings and documentation
  • Acoustic performance requirements
  • ESG, sustainability and Green Star
  • Supply Nation certification
  • Panel layouts, prototyping, or pre-installation coordination
Myee Collective coordinated the documentation required for Group fire ratings, acoustic performance, sustainability certifications and delivery sequencing to support project timelines.

Community
Outcomes

The completed precinct delivers an acoustically balanced environment that supports focus in meeting spaces, clarity in public areas, and comfort in high-energy training zones, enhancing the daily experience for athletes, staff, and visitors alike. By combining robust acoustic performance with warm, timber-inspired finishes, the centre feels both high-performance and approachable—reflecting the club’s deep connection to its supporter base. The integration of elite facilities with community fields and programs strengthens pathways from junior participation to professional sport, using thoughtful design to amplify the impact of the Eels’ “Eels in the Community” initiatives across Western Sydney.
